Organizing
Update
A major campaign to
Organize Automotive Shops on the
Island is underway to raise the wages and benefits
to the level of IAM Shops strengthening all contracts in the
process. Contact
employees are need in these dealerships for
successfully unionization. Members are encouraged to pass on names
and phone numbers of union friendly employees of non-union firms
to the IAM, confident that confidentiality will be our first
priority. On successful negotiation of a first contract, a
cash reward will be paid to any member
who provided the initial contact information.
