IAM Member Dave Betker Proudly displays his
restored Pickup at Local Show and Shine
to help promote Organizing. (Sept. 07)

 When IAM executives asked Dave, a mechanic with the IAM for 18 years if he would consider entering his restored 1958 GMC Pickup at a local car event to help promote the IAM name there wasn't a hesitation.
The Langley good times cruse in attracts up to 100,000 auto enthusiasts with over 1,400 vehicles on display. IAM Balloons and information were provided to guests young and old. IAM District 250 represents the majority of Unionized dealerships in the lower mainland. It was a good turnout and a great way to provide information to the public. A special thanks goes to Dave and Pat for lending out their pride and joy and helping out on the very hot day
