Business Representative Ron Jordan and
 Bob Garrity Retire From District 250

A Retirement Roast was held for Former Business Representatives Ron Jordan and Bob Garrity that brought out Friends, family and Union members of district 250.
              
Bob Garrity has been a member of the Machinists Union for over Forty years, in that time Bob, had been a senior shop Steward at Finning, was on the negotiations committee numerous times, and served on the executive board of LL 692 before becoming a Business Representative in March 1998. There were a lot of interesting stories that members brought up over Bob's forty years with the IAM. Bob is now giving some of his extra time with the United Way.

   
   
                  
Ron Jordan a former school teacher Started with the Machinists Union as a Auto Mechanic at Victoria Acura Ron became involved in the Union as an executive board member for LL 219 and Became a business representative in 1998 until retiring this year. Ron encourages everyone to retire as soon as possible and highly endorses it !
