Highlights From the CLC Human rights Conference

Human Rights and Anti Racism:
We looked back at the summer of 2006 when Lebanon evacuated its citizens
To day the government is changing the intent of what constitutes a Canadian Citizen. The Government wants to keep a profile of every person that flies on a plane, if you are on the list you would be refused to fly similar to the US.
We are loosing ground to our Human rights yet our country need immigrants to
replace the retiring Canadians. 8 Million Workers will retire in the next 10 years.
(CLC President Ken Georgetti)

A woman of Pakistan decent now a social worker she performed several songs of her struggles. Blending modern music with her cultural style along with lyrics as a struggling immigrant. Delegates were encouraged  during times of trouble to take a deep breath in life, regroup and then step forward
